About Sean
Sean began racing at a young age in 6.5 HP mini sprints. At the age of 15 he transitioned to racing high performance karts on paved road courses across Western Canada in the Rotax Max 125cc series where he came within a couple of points in back to back years of winning the Western Canadian Championship.
He also raced a 125cc Rok kart, where he earned the opportunity in back to back years to represent Canada at the Rok World Finals in Lonato, Italy. For a couple of years he also raced in the Stars of Tomorrow karting series in the ICA class across North America.
In 2009, at the age of 20, Sean pursued his childhood dream of racing sprint cars, and drove Tim Gee's rental sportsman sprint for his first season, winning 5 out of the 10 races he entered. This early success resulted in him being asked to drive a 360 sprint the following season for Jim Albert out of Edmonton.
Coming off an NSA championship in the 2018 season and a 2nd place finish in the local Castrol Raceway 360 series, Sean hopes to continue this success and return to the podium in 2019 while piloting the ProWest Motorsports GF1 360 sprint car.
